Marcus Hamill Meditation is…

about living

For years, I’d been juggling a busy career as a Director and Writer, with the demands of being a husband and father, whilst trying to fit in the occasional surf – coping well enough I suppose, but lets face it, life’s not meant to be about coping.

As a result of my busy mind, I was almost constantly in a state of underlying stress, causing bouts of insomnia and anxiety.

I remember walking outside after learning the Vedic meditation technique and I felt like a fog had lifted and I could see clearly for the first time. Over the coming weeks I felt calmer, more connected, and aware, and the resulting happiness and peace of mind continues to grow   exponentially to this day.

I’m still a director, writer, husband and father, and now I’ve added to my
demands by becoming a Vedic Meditation Teacher, and yet somehow I find
the time to be more present, engaged and happier than ever.
My desire is to share this profound and life changing mental technique
with you, to inspire you to be your best, to operate at your peak, and ultimately
to help you find balance and happiness in your life, no matter how
chaotic and busy it may be. After all, life’s not about coping
- it’s about living!

If you think you can’t possibly learn to meditate, that your mind is simply too busy and you could never turn it off, believe me, you can. Vedic meditation is so popular, precisely because it’s so efficient, simple and easy to learn. In fact, within 4 short sessions I guarantee that you will walk away having mastered the art.
This technique comes from the 5000 year-old Indian wisdom tradition known as the Veda – from which both Yoga and Ayurveda are Derived.
It requires no effort, concentration, focus, or straining the mind to control thoughts. It can be done anywhere… in an office chair, on the bus, in your car (whilst a passenger or parked of course) on a lounge, sitting up in a bed. Anyone from the age of 5 can learn and it’s equally as easy for everyone.
This technique has been scientifically validated as a powerful antidote to the modern epidemic of stress, creating powerful, measurable changes in the physiology, and has been found to be more effective than other meditation and relaxation techniques in promoting mental and physical well-being. Meditators quickly become less stressed, more creative, more productive, and more adaptable to the demands of life!
